Common questions

What people ask us

Is Sway a gym?

No. Sway is a coordinated wellness service. We build you a personalised team of specialists who come to your home. No gym floor, no class schedule, no membership.

Do I get all six specialties?

No. Your team is built around what your body actually needs. The assessment determines the right combination. Some clients need two specialists. Some need five.

How much does it cost?

The 90-minute assessment is £89 during launch. Ongoing costs depend on your team. You set the budget and we build the best team within it.

Where are sessions held?

At your home, or wherever you prefer in London. Your specialists come to you.

Can I exercise if I have pain?

Yes. Pain does not mean stop. It means start with the right person. Your physio assesses the issue, clears you for specific movements, and your trainer programmes around it.

Is walking enough exercise?

Walking is excellent for your heart. But it does not maintain muscle mass, bone density, or balance. The NHS recommends strength training at least twice per week in addition to walking for adults over 65.

What is a Lead Coach?

One person accountable for your entire plan. They coordinate the team, keep every specialist aligned, and are your single point of contact at Sway.

Should I see a physio or a trainer first?

If you are in pain, start with a physiotherapist. If you are pain-free and want to get stronger, start with a trainer. If you are unsure, our assessment covers both and routes you to the right specialist.

What credentials do your specialists have?

Every specialist is fully qualified in their discipline. Physiotherapists are HCPC registered. Strength coaches hold CIMSPA or equivalent. Pilates teachers are trained in recognised lineages. Nutritionists are BANT or equivalent.

How is Sway different from a regular personal trainer?

A regular personal trainer works alone. At Sway, your trainer coordinates with your physio, nutritionist, and recovery specialist. They share notes, adjust plans together, and never contradict each other. That coordination is what produces better outcomes.

Can I change a specialist if they are not the right fit?

Yes. You meet every specialist before your programme begins. If someone does not feel right, we replace them. No questions asked.

Is this only for people over 55?

Sway is designed for adults who take their health seriously. Most of our clients are 55 and over, but the coordinated care model works for anyone who wants their health professionals to actually communicate.
